We believe it is the responsibility of the the FUTURES Program to offer each student the opportunity to develop intellectually, psychologically, and emotionally. This will be accomplished through a program that addresses the unique needs of the learner set in a secure and nurturing atmosphere. All classes utilize Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) as the framework for teaching behavior skills. This model is student based and uses praise and positive reinforcement. In addition to this, the program utilizes a tiered approach to interventions and strategies to further develop individualized interventions and strategies for students both academically and behaviorally.  We are committed to the following:

We will be committed to utilizing Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports to create a climate that is safe, respectful, & responsible in order to support learning.

We will be committed to student and adult learning.

We will share our knowledge, as well as our uncertainties.
Open, honest systems will improve and overcome obstacles.
We will develop trust with all stakeholders through communication and transparency.

As individuals and a program, we will be productive.
We will work together to achieve better results by maximizing resources.
We will work smarter and coordinate our efforts toward a common mission and purpose.
We will hold ourselves, our colleagues, and our students to high standards.
Adults and students alike rise to high expectations.

We will treat each other, our students, our families, and our community in an ethical and respectful way.

We will be experts in our field and provide training that supports our staff, students, families, and the community.

We exist to serve.
We will have an attitude of service to our students, our parents, our districts, and our community.
No two students have exactly the same skills or learning style. That’s why we create an individual learning plan for every child. Your plan will combine direct instruction, small-group work, and one-on-one tutoring in a way that works for your student.Type your paragraph here.Type your paragraph here.
